Honda and Toyota Dominate ALG Residual Value Awards

Automotive Lease Guide (ALG), a subsidiary of DealerTrack Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRAK), is the industry benchmark for residual values and depreciation data.

ALG has announced its 11th annual Residual Value Awards, honoring the manufacturers and their vehicles that are predicted to retain the highest percentage of their original price after a conventional three-year period.

Honda's entire family of vehicles was named second for the "Mainstream Brand Residual Value Award".

Three of Honda's vehicles received awards for leading their market segment in the retention of original purchase price:
1. Fit (Entry Compact Car)
2. Accord (Midsize Car)
3. Odyssey (Minivan)

According to James Clark, General Manager of ALG, “We continue to believe that residual value is the best metric for evaluating the overall strength of an automotive brand, and we congratulate all of the 2010 winners for their successful products and marketing strategies.”
